PBA: Former Ginebra import Chris Alexander vents on Twitter, later apologizes

Like many fans of the Barangay Ginebra Kings, Chris Alexander found the team's 108-84 semifinals ouster to the B-MEG Llamados on Tuesday to be a bitter pill to swallow, and took to Twitter to share his anger. The difference of course, is that Alexander was on that Ginebra team two months earlier.
The 7'0" American center reached out to his former teammates on the popular microblogging site, but also had harsh comments for Noli Eala, San Miguel Corporation director of sports, whom Alexander believes was behind his firing.
Both the Barangay Ginebra Kings and the B-MEG Llamados are owned by San Miguel Corporation.
He also acknowledge the messages of fans directed at him that wondered if Ginebra would have been in better shape had he stuck around as the team's import.
"WHAT IF [HE] IS RIGHT, BUT WHY FIX SOMETHING THAT IS NOT BROKEN," Alexander tweeted out.
"All I can say is @NoliEala. i bet ur face is full of smiles right now. thanks for the pink slip buddy!! at least i could have had a chance," he added. "wait. can u tell me ur reasons for releaseing me again without any notice. oh i know14 and 20rebounds that is.
"damn i hate that they [Ginebra] lost. not saying i am the 1 who would have helped them win, but at least i could have a reason as to why i was not there to help," he later clarified. "I guess I will go down in the stories of what if. or maybe what if @nolieala was never around."
On Wednesday morning though, Alexander was apologetic, saying, "to all of the people who are following me and read my tweets last night I wanna say that I am so sorry for they I was tweeting. The word I chose to use toward@nolieeala. I just been having a hard time every since I was released from here.
"[Ginebra head coach] Siot [Tanquingcen] was a big fan of mine and I know he wanted me to sta here. I Just was not 100% and so the paniced and replaced me. Maybe [Jackson] Vroman was a good fit for them. I just hope and pray Jj [Helterbrand] and Eric [Menk] will leave the game with a championship. Get well soon Mark [Caguioa]."
A shocked Alexander was released last February 28, with the team’s record at 2-1, and just like in this situation, took to Twitter to air his side, saying, "I have did not know it would hurt this bad to be released. It is a business and nothing personal I guess....I pray for the best for this team as I feel this team is my family and I want them to do good"
He later told Sports Radio 918 that he "thought Ginebra needed only a rebounder and defensive player, because they have Mark [Caguioa], Kerby [Raymundo], etc. to score."
Alexander averaged 14 points on 51.43 percent shooting, 20.33 rebounds, 2.33 assists and 1.67 blocks in 38 minutes for the Kings.
Jackson Vroman, his replacement, brought more offense to the table early on, norming 21 markers through his first six assignments with Ginebra, but the naturalized Lebanese seemingly went silent in the semi-finals, scoring an average of 11 in three games, plus nine rebounds. In the pivotal fourth game, he logged just 31 minutes before fouling out. — RSJ, GMA News

I'm really sorry Chris! I know how you feel, pinalaki lang talaga ng mga media men ang pagsentemyento pa. Dont mind the haters esp NOLI. Were always here supporting and believing YOU.
