Aside from live broadcast on AKTV, TV5 to air Ginebra-Talk ‘N Text semis opener on slight delay

PBA fans have no more excuse to miss the Commissioner’s Cup semifinals opener between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Talk ‘N Text on Friday.

Aside from its usual live broadcast over AKTV on IBC-13, the game will also be broadcast over TV5 on a slightly-delayed basis.

Sports5 head Chot Reyes made the announcement on his Twitter account.

“PBA fans: To those who can’t catch TNT-Gin game live on AKTV tom, there’s a slightly delayed telecast at 8pm on TV5,” wrote Reyes.

The broadcast begins on AKTV at 6:30 p.m.

TV5 had earlier proposed to transfer the airing of the remaining Commissioner’s Cup games to its main network instead of on AKTV, its sports block on IBC-13.

But the PBA Board of Governors declined the proposal, although it allowed the broadcast network to do a simulcast or a delayed broadcast of the games.
