Overview of PBA's Governor's Cup Part 1: Top 4 teams

Petron Blaze Booster
The reigning Governor's Cup champion will be back again to a possible title run this season after a horrific showing last commissioner's cup. Booster's will be one of the deepest team in the league alongside the perenial powerhouse and rival Tropang Texters. Hotshots Jay Washington and Dondon Hontiveros will be able strut their stuff again after coming back from injury while several key additions were added to their team via trades. Super Rookie Marcio Lassiter and Dorian Peña will be it's newest addition to further strengthen its uber deep line-up.
Import Eddie Basden will be their asset in the defensive side and could be their stabilizer in crunch time with his toughness and Basketball I.Q.
The only problem that they might encounter is the Time Distribution.

Texters will try to bounce back after its dissappointing and controversial game 7 lost to B-Meg Llamados. Same old faces will be leading the charge for the TNT, Jayson Castro, Jimmy Alapag, Kelly Williams, Jared Dillinger, Ryan Reyes and the rest of the gang together with their former import Paul Harris will be a contender for the Governor's Cup title.
Paul Harris is a complete player, his overall game can takeover everyone and his developed outside shooting makes him more deadlier this time.
A possible tiring conference last season may affect their performance at the start of the conference.
Possible Result: QuarterFinals to Finals
B-Meg Llamados
Just before the finale of the Commissioner's Cup, Tim Cone made a great find again after signing the super athletic dunker and defense specialist Marqus Blakely. The so called "pingris x2" could be their asset to perform at it's best this conference. Tim Cone will be pinning its title hope this season to the same old faces of the Llamados.
Y. De Ocampo 6-8, Raffy Reivis 6-7, and Joe Devance 6-7 could be their asset this season.
Their height advantage over the rest of the team could be their asset this season.

Barangay Ginebra Kings
Ginebra will always be a title contender with their supporters and solid roster. Mark Caguioa has been given a green light to play this governor's cup after his horrific injury. Despite its aging lineup, Ginebra and Cedric Bozeman will be a serious contender this season. Bozeman will be an upgrade of Jackson Vroman based from his pre-season stats. Ginebra will also have its full hand this season with the activation of rookie scorer Allein Maliksi and hustle player Rico Maierhofer.
Possible Result: Quarterfinals to Finals
