Why Barangay Ginebra lost their series against the B-Meg Llamados?
Mark Caguioa's Absence
Mark "The Spark" Caguioa was a former Rookie of the Year(2001) and 1-time Best Player of the Conference(2006-2007 Philippine Cup). The guy has a legit Talent , a proven winner and their best scorer. Caguioa's averaged in the Elimination was 18.22 points, 7 rebounds,2.44 assist and 1.1 steals, his overall game enabled him to grabbed the third spot for the Best Player of the Conference race just behind Powerade's Garry David and and Meralco's Marc Cardona.
Caguioa had been pretty consistent for Ginebra this season, he scored in double figures in 9 games that he had played in the eliminations before sustained a scary injury that sidelined him whole through out the Semifinals.
Ginebra averages 14 points difference on their three losses against the Llamados, this 14 points can be easily topple by Mark Caguioa if he was only able to play on the series. Despite he missed their last four games, he is still their second top scorer with 169 point behind Vroman's 183.
Caguioa's absence also proved that Ginebra does not have a stable scorer whenever the game is on the line, though Cortez and Canaleta managed to salvaged the game three and i repeat only in game three for ginebra.
Jackson Vroman's overall presence
Jackson Vroman might sounded better on paper when he arrived but he was actually the reason why the Gin Kings lost the series. Despite he lead the team in rebounding with 12 rebounds and second in points with 16.64 points per ball game , he only averaged 10.50 points and 9.50 rebounds in their series against the Llamados.
Vroman's attitude towards physical contacts was also a pain in the ass as he always complains about the non-contacts. He is also the worst freethrow shooting percentage in the PBA this season with an averaged of 32.3 percent.
Though Vroman averaged in points was better than Alexander but other than that Alexander is far superior than Vroman. And I Hate Vroman!joke hahaha
Siot's Rotation
Barangay Ginebra's coach might be a veteran in the league but his rotation this season is a suspect, despite Helterbrand's poor season he still averaged 34 minutes per ball game and only 8.91 points per game while their main sixth man last season Willy Wilson averaged only 14.55 mpg. Aside from this rotation, Siot did not utilized well the following guys: Villanueva, Billy Mamaril and Kerby Raymundo.
