‘Tingnan natin kung pwede’: Mark Caguioa still unsure of playing in All-Star game

DAVAO CITY — Barangay Ginebra San Miguel superstar Mark Caguioa arrived here on Saturday to join the rest of the PBA delegation for the All-Star weekend activities.

The reigning Most Valuable Player has been voted in by fans to be part of the PBA selection that will challenge the SMART-Gilas Pilipinas national team on All-Star Sunday at the Davao del Sur Coliseum.

But his status is still up in the air as he is still dealing with a knee injury that has kept him for majority of the Gin Kings’ games in the Commissioner’s Cup.

“Tingan natin kung puwede,” Caguioa told InterAKTV.

PBA chairman Robert Non, who represents Ginebra in the league’s Board of Governors, told Caguioa not to force himself to play if he does not feel comfortable seeing action.

A return in the All-Star game could pave the way for Caguioa’s return to active duty for Ginebra, which is embroiled in a tough semifinal series against Talk ‘N Text.
