Ginebra, San Mig Coffee renew Manila Clasico rivalrySan Mig Coffee guns for its fourth straight win when it takes on Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the main game of the 2013 PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Sunday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
The Mixers and the Kings renew their Manila Clasico rivalry at 6:30 p.m. right after the opening match between Air21 and GlobaPort at 4:30 p.m.
After a 0-3 start, San Mig Coffee has won its last three games, including a huge 75-68 victory against league-leader Alaska last Wednesday.
Ginebra, meanwhile, only has a win to show after six starts, but this concerns Mixers coach Tim Cone going into their game.
“We know we’re playing a Ginebra team who is very desperate and very hungry for win. That makes them doubly dangerous,” said Cone.
“We know we’ll have to be very sharp to beat them.”
The Kings are coming off a tough 96-93 defeat to Rain or Shine in their previous game.
