Ginebra superstar Mark Caguioa speaks out against ‘annoying’ Talk ‘N Text drums

Reduced to being a spectator in Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s opening game in the Commissioner’s Cup semifinals against Talk ‘N Text, superstar guard Mark Caguioa had the best seat in the house.

And like many other fans at the venue, he quickly grew irritated with the drummers that the Tropang Texters had brought to the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

“Is it me or the drums are really annoying? Kawawa naman yung mga bata nanonood tsaka d naman college ang mga naglalaban eh,” wrote Caguioa on his Twitter account.

Caguioa’s sentiments echoed those of fans, who complained about the drums disrupting their enjoyment both at the venue and over the television broadcast.

The noise, however, did not seem to affect Ginebra, which cruised to an easy 104-81 victory in Game One.
