By The Numbers: Final playdate will have big say on playoff fates of Ginebra and Meralco

THERE are only two games remaining in the 2013 PBA Commissioner’s Cup eliminations which will end Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum:

5:15 p.m. Rain or Shine vs. Meralco

7:30 p.m. Talk ‘N Text vs Petron Blaze

Here are the things that have already been cast in stone after the results of last Sunday’s games:

1) The eight-team cast for the quarterfinals or first round of the playoffs has been set.

2) Barako Bull and Globalport are eliminated.

3) Alaska and Rain or Shine will be the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds, respectively, in the playoffs and will have twice-to-beat advantages in the quarterfinals against the Nos. 8 and 7 teams, again respectively.

4) The only certain quarterfinal pairing is No. 1 Alaska vs. No. 8 Air21.

5) The rankings that will be determined based on the results of the last two games on Wednesday are Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

6) The two best-of-three quarterfinals pitting 4-vs-5 and 3-vs-6 will begin Friday, April 19, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

7) The two other quarterfinals pitting No. 1 Alaska against No. 8 Air21 and No. 2 Rain or Shine against the No. 7 team will commence on Saturday, April 20, at the MOA Arena.

un nga rin ang iniisip ko, 2 beses tinalo ang meralco ................dapat di na babagsak sa no#7 ..........

pwede na ROS, para naman makabawe tayo sa kanila pero hirap tayo sa kanila lalo na ngayon wala pa si MC

even without mark, ginebra still a dangerous team than meralco... alam ko mas gusto ko nila makalaban ang meralco sa twice to beat advantage, yun eh kung gusto talaga nila mapadali ang pag abante nila sa semis... dahil kung pipiliin nila ang ginebra makalaban, abah talagang matapang sila, para saan pa yun pagiging top 2 nila kung caliber team din naman makakatapat nila, hehehe...

yun nga ang nakakainis eh natalo natin ng dalawang beses ang meralco, pero balewala din pala kasi dinamay tayo ng ibang team...

tama... mas gusto ko makalaban ang ROS, ayaw ko sa petron at sanmig... lalo na sa sanmig kasi hindi kumpleto ang lineup natin di bale kung naglalaro si idol mark, at least kahit matalo tayo sa ROS ayos lang kasi malakas naman talaga ang team na to...

kahit sino pwede kalabanin ng Ginebra, basta stay lang tayo sa pag pray... at NSD mga lahing GINEBRA!!!
